A disciple, according to the Bible, is a person who actively follows Jesus, allowing their life to be transformed by His teachings and principles, and is devoted to carrying out the mission and purpose that Jesus set forth (as mentioned in Matthew 4:19). Disciple making, on the other hand, involves engaging in meaningful relationships with individuals to assist them in developing faith in Jesus and subsequently following His path (as indicated in Matthew 28:18–20). This process encompasses various stages, starting from the initial conversion experience, progressing through spiritual growth and maturity, and ultimately leading to the multiplication of disciples as they, in turn, become mentors and guides for others on their journey of faith.
